The Homeless Angels need your help to save the hotel we have called the Homeless Hotel.
Back taxes are due by the end of March 2016, if not paid, the hotel will be closed.
The Homeless Angels are working with the owner to purchase the hotel. Our goal: to raise $225,000 for a down payment that will be applied to the past due back taxes and a new roof.
Our mission: A street based outreach with a mission to rebuild and restore faith in humanity through innovative ideas, programs and events with the main goal of involving the community in REAL change for people that are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
Because of the hotel:
• Hundreds of single mom’s, families, men and veterans have had a warm, safe place to stay
• Thousands of meals served by the community to those staying at the hotel
• Street Stores have been able to be held inside out of the elements
• Thousands of Christmas gifts have been distributed
• Countless people have gotten an extra hand up from the pantry with food, diapers and personal needs
• Many people have been mentored to help find permanent housing, jobs and enrolled in medical benefits.
