I'm running for State Senator of California's 32 District.

I'm no longer satisfied sitting by and letting corrupt, sexist or incompetent politicians represent me. Sacramento needs new ideas and new energy. I'm the person to do that.

I promise to listen to my constituents and be open to new ideas. I promise to work to compromise to get issues done, but not at the cost of getting the right things done.

I would have preferred to run by collecting signatures, but the window to file that way has closed. I now have until March 13 to raise the necessary filing fees.

This District represents Artesia, Bellflower, Cerritos, Commerce, Downey, East La Mirada, Hacienda Heights, Hawaiian Gardens, La Habra Heights, Lakewood, La Mirada, Montebello, Norwalk, Pico Rivera, Rose Hills, Santa Fe Springs, South Whittier, West Whittier-Los Nietos, Whittier and Buena Park.

You do not need to be a resident of those cities to donate to my campaign, but you do need to be a US Citizen. Also, I am not allowed to take any donations over $4,000 according to campaign finance law.

Yes, this is a real campaign and not an elaborate prank. I’m well aware that my main profession is a comedian, but when I’m serious I have a passion for keeping California the greatest state in the nation.
