Imagine an AGRICULTURALLY supported community...

We aim to make that dream a reality.

Free Food For All is the ideal fostered by three inter-supported farms. An ideal intended to serve as the kernel to a food movement that will liberate us from our addiction to a materialistic consumerist society.

Our mission is to start the Free Food For All movement by living it. To invite the world to sit at a free table so that all might be free from hunger, illness, and violence. Free Food to anyone who asks, no questions asked. This is our solution to the economic and ecological crisis, sharing food. Imagine all that will be saved and how community will be built.

How will we make this ideal a reality? By cultivating, raising, harvesting/culling, preparing foods and taking the food to the public to give away, in as many forms as we can; whether it be garden seeds, propagated fruit/nut trees and early vegetable starts. Along with fresh turkey, rabbit, chicken, eggs, guinea and hopefully pork.

Ask yourself the question, 'What if a group of people adopted a few small towns and turned them into food sanctuaries, with the goal of creating them into an agriculturally sustained community?'" That is what we, Free Food For All, are attempting. Where will it lead? Hopefully to the world. Will you help us take it there together?

Welcome All!, and thanks for stopping by and visiting our virtual Table. We love to feed others, and we would like to freely share with you an ebook that embraces and extends this dream we have placed before you. May it feed your heart, mind, and spirit. It's free and it's for you and all. THE OPEN TABLE: Love's Story @ http://t.co/FGrDIHtLxd

In the nine months since this page was started, the kids and I have moved in to our burgeoning homestead in Peacham. We have acquired livestock, harvested dairy, eggs and meat, dug a spring, installed a solar system, built many needed shelters and furnishings from salvaged materials, been moved to laughter and tears, felt deep gratitude and faced intense fears and frustrations... In this short amount of time, we have shared food from our land with neighbors, friends, family and strangers. The meat from our pig has been prepared and served and shared amongst more than a hundred people already and there is still more in the freezer! Bottles of fresh Goat's milk have been passed along, eggs have been delivered, raspberries and blackberries have been picked and stored and, of course, shared...and this spring we will begin to establish our gardens to add vegetables to our harvest for sharing freely.

All this has emanated from just our little homestead. Micheal and Claudine have shared from their experiences out in Orange at Naught For Sale Farm; Adam tilled the first few rows of the FREE Community gardens at the Road House on route 2 in Plainfield, VT; Crystal has been sharing her home and table at the Orange Street house in Barre, VT... So this is our wheel in motion! We sow seeds of hope for future sharing to instill in our world a true sense of sustainability that is not just for oneself, but rather for a whole - a whole community, a whole people, a whole environment, a whole planet.

Much thanks to all of you who have read and responded and donated and shared. May the wheel's motion propel us all to keep giving and sharing freely with one another. Though the time for this page has come to an end, we will continue to sow, build, grow, tend, and SHARE. FREE Food For ALL is not a project or an organization with an end date, but rather it is a way of life. I intend to keep on living it and sharing it. Share on!

With deep gratitude,
Ariel

Goodbye and thank you from Claudine, Michael and all the animals, plants and land at Naught For Sale farm. As Free Food For All prepares to close this funding site, we are saying our farewells and come wells to all who have shared in the utopian vision of Free Food For All. Free Food For All is but the first step in our participation in the abolition of money and the liberation of humanity and planet from greed, profit, and waste. On our behalf, what you have helped create is the infrastructure for an abolitionist farm.
What is an abolitionist farm?  It's not self, but collective sustainability, not self, but collective resiliency, not self, but collective sufficiency, not self, but collective responsibility - responding to all according to our abilities. It is a collective emancipation from economic slavery with the abolition of currencies. An abolitionist farm uses food to free us from industrial values and utilizes money to eliminate money. An abolitionist farm is an Open Table, a Seeker's Sanctuary and the beginnings of radical equality. Free Food For All, trying to model itself after love, is radical equality, radical compassion, radical sharing.
Here is a gift for the road, another paraquel to our opus, The Open Table: Love's Story. This one is called: Trials of Love: Disappearing Love http://tinyurl.com/kf6b57k and if you are so inspired, you can keep checking for new paraquels regularly.
May we all grow in wisdom and love so we flower equality and care. See you in the field, on the road and in the streets. Until we meet again, blessings of health to your body, wisdom to your mind, love to your heart, and humility of soul.

Claudine and Michael gratefully thank Laura A. for her timely food gift of feed and compost for the poultry and four-footed creatures of NFS Farm. We would have all been sharing some soaked beans and frozen apples on these chilly days if not for her kindly, yet casual, beneficence. As we like to say, "Practice daily, routinized, habitualized, ritualized, instinctual and not just spontaneous acts of kindness, generosity, compassion and, most of all, radical equality."

This project of love and caring for the land, and for the animals. and for people is what we all need to do (or support those who do) in order to remain human. A hen's name? How about "Shakespeare?"
