Hello fellow Berners!
My name is Eva Petakovic, and not long ago I was elected as a delegate for Bernie Sanders representing Missouri's 4th Congressional District. This means I will be going to the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia this July where I will have the amazing opportunity to support Bernie and his platform along with fellow supporters in an arena where I can make a difference.

I've set up this campaign to ask you to help me fight for Bernie, and for all of us! I am more than happy to be a delegate and represent Bernie on both the state and national level, but unfortunately no monetary support for travel, lodging, and other expenses is included with this title... this is where, as a college student, I could use the help of my friends and fellow Bernie supporters.

The Democratic party has estimated the cost of attending the 2016 Democratic Convention at $3,000-6,000 for airfare, hotel cost, transportation, food, and incidentals. The money I raise through this campaign will go directly to meeting these costs, and I will donate any extra funds to the campaigns of other Bernie delegates.
I know many of you who are checking out this GoFundMe are friends and Bernie supporters who have already put time and energy into the campaign in some way or another, and for that I am thankful! Contributing to this GoFundMe is a very special way to support the Bernie campaign because it allows me to focus on preparing and coordinating with other Bernie supporters as July 25th approaches instead of scraping together the funds myself, which is difficult as a student! If you are a Bernie supporter but have not found a way to support the campaign yet, this is a great opportunity for you to directly help Bernie's platform have a strong presence nationwide.
