Compassion & Justice For Elyza&Shar

One of our very dear best friends, Shar, is going through a situation where she needs a lot of support towards legal counsel. She left her abuser about a year ago. They have a kid together. Her name is Elyza. She is a wonderful kiddo who is a ball of fire and smiles. They are both wonderful human beings. Shar has gotten sober. She has gotten freedom from her abuse. She is working toward her dreams of helping animals. She got a job at an animal shelter and now has a job as a veterinary assistant. She has found her independence. She loves her daughter with all of her heart and soul. She does everything for her daughter. Elyza has a safe environment with Shar filled with kindness, structure, compassion, empathy, understanding, and patience. She has love with her mom. Real love. Shar is an amazing mother and human. She needs help getting better legal help. She needs money. She had free legal help but it's not enough. Her ex is wanting to get full custody and leave the state. This guy has more access to money towards his legal help than our friend has to put towards her own legal counsel. Shar has met with a lawyer and the retainer alone is $2500. We are asking for a little more than double at this point because she will need more, she will surely miss work for court, and any other extra fees that might occur. Please give if you can! Even a few dollars helps. She needs to get herself and her kid out of this situation for good. We are all so proud of her. She has run marathons to become the beautiful person she is today. That baby deserves to have only love in their life. She's like a niece to us. We want freedom for our friend and her daughter. These people are family to us. They need compassion. They need justice.
