Help for Col. Potter Cairn Snyder

Snyder was living in a car with his beloved human, but his body was suffering due to the confinement. He developed a yeast infection all over his body and lost most of the hair from his nose to the tip of his tail.  At 15 years old, his owner couldn't take him to a shelter without seriously bad results. But Col. Potter took in this poor little guy with horrible skin. He was taken to a vet for evaluation and being brought up to date on his vaccinations among other things. He was then flown to his foster home for baths....LOTS of baths. We need to get his skin healthy with great nutrition and cleaning his skin frequently to work on conquering that yeast infection.
Unfortunately, when Snyder got to his foster home we found that the initial vetting had ignored his sneezing with mucus. He's been unable to be with the other dogs in his foster home because one of the dogs is elderly and in poor health. Foster Mom took Snyder to her vet and he tried a couple of antibiotics, but neither one made much difference to the presence of mucus which may be showing infection. Recently, he was taken to a new vet for some specialized tests. He was put under anesthesia so the vet could get xrays of his nasal passages and she scoped him and looked inside his nose. Then she clipped his nails and cleaned his ears. There she found something that may be significant that we weren't expecting. She saved some of the gunk from inside his ears and sent it out for a culture and sensitivity as she believes he may have a middle or inner ear infection in one or both ears. The culture and sensitivity test will find out if he has bacteria and if so what antibiotic will kill that bacteria. All these tests added up especially on top of the initial vetting and flying the little guy to a foster home. Snyder will likely need antibiotics and probiotics at least.

Would you be so kind as to help us care for Snyder so he can get healthy and happy for his remaining years? He is
NOT a wimp or a weak old guy and we doubt he will be checking out any time soon. LOL Snyder is a smaller Cairn but he has the strength of a bull. :) Yes, he's a bit bull-headed too, but you have to laugh because he acts like an 8 year old. :) He sooooo wants to be with the other kids and the other kids really want him to be with them. Please support this little rascal who was in a really bad situation for some time if you can spare some $ for him. Thank you!
