Cascadia Volunteer Advocacy is a Bellingham-based non-profit organization. Our mission is to promote harm reduction, survivability and resiliency for the street community and their advocates using compassionate social interaction as our basis.
We help raise the basic health/hygiene standard for the street community by distributing care packages with basic hygiene necessities.

At this point, all monetary donations will be used to:

     1) Start putting together level one care packages with basic hygiene necessities.
     2) Work toward a storefront/office space with counseling rooms/Advocate decompression room with Neural Bio-Feedback therapy/training.

In addition to monetary donations, we require the following items for the care packages:

Disposable Razors
Single Bar Soap
Travel Toothbrush
Tampons, Pads (pads preferred)
Disposable Tissues
Travel Shampoo/Conditioner
Socks
Bandaids
Emergency Blanket (Foil Space Blanket)
Chapstick
Waterproof Matches
P38 Can Opener
Cough Drops
Q-tips
Baby Wipes

If our program is successful we hope to expand to other branches all across Cascadia!

In addition to monetary/supply contributions, we also need willing and able bodied volunteers to:

Help itemize/sort donations
Help distribute donations
Become trained in Peer Counseling and work as advocates
