Bryant Mural on Popkins

You have all seen this exterior wall that faces Popkins Lane, outside Bryant Alternative High School. It's not pretty.
Once Groveton High School (from 1956-1985), this wall has seen a lot of history and thousands of students have probably leaned on it, walked by it and some have even created art and written on it.
This wall is not just for the Bryant Alternative HS population, it is part of the community. It is the first thing young faces and families see at the UCM Early Learning Center. It faces the St. Louis School Playground and it is clearly visible to all who drive by. This year, we want to give it a new life and new energy. Working with a professional mural artist, we will make the exterior of the building as welcoming as the classrooms inside.
We will build community through the process of planning, creating and installing.
We will teach students trade skills and expose them to realistic career applications connected to the art world.
We need your help. Donations of over $100 made by April 30, 2017 will have your name personalized on a tile as part of the mosaic.
