"Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire"
Dear Friends, I'm so grateful that you've taken the time to see what I'm doing at YWAM Ships in Kona, Hawaii.
There have been some huge changes in life this past year, and I've taken on a completely new direction; Deciding that it was time to do something much bigger than myself while following my heart, and showing God’s love to people along the way. To be honest, it's not easy leaving the comfort of every day life at 29 years old to pursue your hearts desires, but this is something I felt I must do! An incredible opportunity came up to pair my love for helping others with learning, serving and travelling.
This past fall, I dove into a half-year intensive program with YWAM Ships; I'm spending the first 3 months (October - December) in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii training to crew a medical boat. Then, in late December my team and I will board the Pacific Link: a ship headed to Wewak, Papua New Guinea with a team of doctors and medical professionals to set up free clinics in isolated, unreached areas that never receive help: providing releif and hope in the name if Jesus!
My team: 9 of us from USA, Canada, Australia, Norway Ages 18-62- So fun!
I have started in the primary health care focus track within my school and loving it so far! I'm learning basic, but valuable medical knowledge so I'm able to put it into practice and teaching while in Papua New Guinea. Specifically, we work with eye doctors and dental surgeons on the ship, and provide primary healthcare and vaccinations in the smaller villages. Along with the medical mercy ministries, we will also provide clean water intitiatives, education and community work.

As a paying volunteer (in US funds) on this mission, I do not have an income and I'm humbled to ask for your support. Any donations received will go directly towards my outreach.
