HEROES, founded by Model and Cosplayer, Adaina Velez in late 2014, in which with the help of donations from good people like yourself , HEROES is able to bring smiles to boys and girls in need of some joy in their lives. HEROES picks a child a year and makes them their Hero. HEROES, for which Jhosua Santana – who is currently battling two forms of cancer – will be its first candidate or “HERO.” With the funds raised by HEROES, Adaina is able to bring smiles to little boys and girls by visiting the little HERO in the hospital in and out of cosplay, bringing superheroes of his/ her choice to visit as well, creating a custom superhero costume for them, and also funding all-expense-paid trips to numerous comic cons across the country when the little HERO is well enough to travel.
