Nearly 400 children in our community play here every school day and as you can see in the photos, the W.O. Parmer 1st and 2nd Grade Playground needs some serious TLC.
W.O. Parmer PTA has scheduled a work day for Saturday, September 10th to make repairs to the 1st and 2nd Grade Playground.
In preparation of our Work Day, we have been killing ant beds and spraying weeds. We have also secured materials such as paint, wood, nuts/bolts, tires and yard tools.
The playground needs to be mulched, so we have started a GoFundMe page to ask for donations to help with that purchase.
Any extra money raised will go towards the purchase for: Benches and a special "Buddy Bench".
We invite our ENTIRE Community to help us with this project! Calling on all Church Groups, Civic Clubs, Parents, Teachers, Students (high school age), Alumni…. Whether you give financially or give of your time, it is VERY MUCH appreciated!
