Help save disabled senior’s stolen property

Shirley Crew’s mother willed a plot of property to her back in 1997. Ms. Crew has lived on this property for 65 years. She is now 70 years old. She also has multiple chronic medical issues that keep her for the most part at home. Her property is directly adjacent to a church’s land. This church has also been in existence for decades and for many years prior this church attempted to bribe and buy the land from her. No sales were ever made. A few years ago the church’s land was foreclosed on due to several tax issues by the county and several other entities. The foreclosed land was rebought at an auction and her land was grouped with the sale. She had never been made aware of any forfeitures by any agencies. She has all original documents (will, original deed, survey findings, etc.) proving that she owns this land as well as her up to date property tax receipts. By being a faithful church member ( of another neighboring church), her church’s congregation and leadership offered to help her legally fight for what she owns. A lawyer was hired to defend her, however the lawyer has proven to be unethical in her practices. The trial dates have been continuously pushed back and this has been going on for nearly 2 years. Today (March 29,2019) she has received an eviction notice from another deputy’s office stating that she has 24 hours to vacate her property. The lawyer has been paid nearly 5 thousand dollars and has been sitting on the process and refuses to proceed. At this point, Ms. Crew has liquidated all the of her resources in order to fight for what is rightfully hers. Due to Ms. Crew’s fixed income and depleted funds she has come to an juncture. She along with her family members are reaching out to the community for help to SAVE HER LAND!
