Avoid Homeless for My GRANDCHILDREN

After a long battle with a really awful landlord living in a unit with a long list of health code violations and many pleas to the landlord to make proper repairs we have been left in a dire situation and facing homelessness. We made attempts to get repairs made by withholding rent, sadly during this time I became too sick to work and those funds had to be taken from in order to pay bills with. Thankfully rent and bills are covered and paid up but now we are left with nothing to aid in putting a roof over our heads. We have been searching well over a year trying to obtain new housing with no help from any sources that we reached out to including housing authorities, the courts, TAFDC, homeless family support agencies, as well as others and it is now coming to the bitter end of this battle. As of August 31st my family with two young children included will have no place to call home. The only option that we have found is to stay in a hotel verses sleeping in a car but financially we are unable to obtain this on our own and we are asking for any and all help. You will not only be helping me but you will be helping to ensure the safety of two young children so they may have a warm bed to sleep in. Thank you Love you all, Judie.
