Help Us Help Local Coast Guard

We are in the process of helping the Coast Guard Personal assigned here in Belfast that have been effected by the Government shut down with some basic needs.    We have provided food, to include fresh vegetables, meats, and breads,   as well as pet supplies (Dog / Cat food etc)   But there is still a need.   We are specifically looking for gas cards and toiletries / hygiene items.    There are a total of 36 people (including dependents) who are effected.    Donations can be made by dropping items off at the post home on 34 Field Street,   or you can message us on Facebook at Randall Collins VFW  and we will make arrangements to pick things up.   If you need a community service project for school / church etc - then this is your opportunity to make a real difference right now.. and locally!  Also, cash donations can be made right here, right now.
