Bear Trail Apartment Fire
Donation protected
On May 4th, 2018, ten families lost everything to a fire. Thankfully no one was hurt, but all they have are the clothes on their backs. The Red Cross is working diligently with Bay Mills Indian Community and other local businesses for donations of clothing and other amenities. Drop off locations are 3408 S. Pine Village Road at Bay Mills. (For Bay Mills residents, it is the Old Fire Hall/Old EMS Building), EUP Title and Century 21 office in the Sault. I will let you know where larger items can be dropped off soon. Please pray for the 10 families that lost everything. Thank you. EUP Title in Sault Ste. Marie located in the same building as the Secretary of State, and Century 21 office in the Sault. But what they all need right now is monetary help to get back on their feet. Please show your support by donating what you can to help the families affected by this devastating loss. Update: All funds will be withdrawn from Soo Coop Credit Union by myself and Kimmi Walden. The funds will be split into (10) even amounts and disbursed to each family by the volunteer group accepting donations on behalf of the Bear Trail Fire victims.
