Here's the Story:
I own a small bar in Wrightsville Beach, NC. A couple weeks ago a girl called me frantic that she had left her wallet at the bar earlier that day. She wasn't worried about the $140 that was in the wallet, she was worried about the 10K wedding ring that was in the wallet! Anyway, I scoured over video footage for hours, found out that she had left it on the bench outside the bar and a stranger had picked it up. This is where the good part of the story begins! Through social media, I found the culprit who was a 17 year old homeless boy. The boy was facing felony criminal charges. The boy swore that he only took the cash out for food (had not eaten in 2 days) and threw the wallet in the ocean. Not believing him, but really wanting to believe him, I hired divers to find the wallet. 2 days later, to everyone's amazement, the wallet was recovered with everything in it, except the cash, just like the boy said. Here's why we're asking for donations:
We are trying to find a place that Rivers can afford on his own. With his 2 jobs and a little help, he will be able to find a small place to live until he can secure financial stability for his own well being. We are asking for you're help in any way possible.
Donations:
All donations will be managed and distributed by Keaton Cline for the sole purpose of providing temporary housing for Rivers until such time that he can secure financial stability for his own well being.
Gratitude:
I have 2 younger boys of my own and I believe I was brought into this young man's life for a reason. Not a day goes by that I don't think about how grateful I am to have met this young man. Just like it was my mission to find the ring, it is my mission to find a home for Rivers. I will truly be grateful for any amount of support.
