Motorcity Recovery Efforts For PR

My name is Abby Martinez. My husband is Javier Martinez, a Waterford Regional Fireman. Together with Sean Blackman, we are teaming up to put together a relief for Puerto Rico. Join us Thursday, October 26th at the Garden Theater in Detroit to celebrate the Puerto Rican culture with In Transit's monthly world concert series with music, art, dance and cuisine. ALL Proceeds from ticket sales and donations are being given to relief efforts for families in Puerto Rico and will be delivered in person by Sean Blackman and Javier Martinez.
This is how it will work... 
The funds will be spent on non-perishable foods, water, generators, medical supplies, cleaning supplies, etc; distribution, delivery, and transportation of goods according to shipment capabilities. Most of the goods will be distributed to the town of Aguirre, PR (where our family is from) and nearby towns.
We will withdraw the funds before we travel to Puerto Rico and either buy goods or distribute money to families in need.
