John Swims 4 Childhood Cancer Research

My goal for 2013 is to swim 1,234,567 meters. That is over 750 miles. This is more than 20% farther than 2012. I have been thinking all year as to how i can translate this achievement into giving back. So i am doing the work and if you think what i am doing is laudable in any way, please consider giving to my charity of choice, Connor Cures.
46 children are diagnosed with cancer each school day.
7 children die from cancer each day.
Less than 4% of the National Cancer Institute's annual budget goes to pediatric cancer research.
Less than 1% of every dollar the American Cancer Society raises goes to pediatric cancer research.
We need to make a difference and invest in new pediatric cancer research.
