Columbia Car Meets

I am sure that many of you have noticed that the meets are growing at a very fast pace. The original meet was designed with hopes of bringing everyone in the Columbia car scene together, in a safe and fun environment. We have had 3 meets so far and they have all been very successful. I am hoping to take these Columbia Car meets to the next level but this can add up very quickly, when it comes to expenses.
I am currently looking for a new location for future meets. Whichever location I choose, it will need to have adequate lighting and plenty of parking space. In order to rent out a space like this, it will not come cheap. I am also working on having on-site food vendors, port-a-potties, security and trash receptacles.
My estimate of expenses are as follows:
Parking Lot rental -$300
Security guard -$150
Port –a- Potty- $200
I have created a GoFundMe page for the next meet. If everyone who attends donates just $2 minimum, we should have enough money for future meets. If there is any extra money in the fund, it will be applied to the next meet. If for some reason I am unable to organize the meet, 100% of the money will be refunded. I’m working for free with the help of some volunteers.
With setting the goal at $1500 this will easily cover 2-3 future meets after Gofundme takes their fee. I will also be adding money on my end to help get us on the map! This will be plenty to get us going and on our feet.

Also, please spread the word we are looking for a large parking lot, it must be able to hold at lest 1,000 cars with plenty of lighting. I am willing to pay $300 to rent it.
