Jackie's Road To Recovery
Donation protected
My sister who has been a animal lover her whole life used to ride a horse and spend time at Saratoga race track visiting with the jockeys and getting autographs. As of 2 years ago she had surgery on the bottom of her foot to remove a golf ball-sized Mass. . Jackie's not had an easy life she had open heart surgery as a baby and legally blind. Jackie has always been a fighter. Now she needs our help, She is in desperate need of a wheelchair. The scoliosis and the rheumatoid arthritis are taking over her body it makes it hard for her to breathe the way her head is protruding forward. a little over a year ago they came to the nursing home and fitted her for a wheelchair everyone was excited only be turned down. With the new wheelchair Jackie will be tilted in such a way that she will not have to struggle to keep her head up anymore.when she is feeling good enough to come off the ventilator we have a portable oxygen tank so we can transport her around the nursing home to do activities and see the other patients. Jackie is not able to talk she cannot walk she does not feed herself or bathe herself but she can SMILE and she can hear and she knows we're trying to make this happen for her. My mother and I need your help. Thank you everyone for your generosity.... https://www.gofundme.com/3j3ptl43j3ptl4
