CHILD SPONSORSHIP DRIVE GOING ON NOW!!

When I was in Uganda last month, we found out that there were 134 kids on waiting list to be sponsored so they can go to school in 2016.

134. It broke my heart! We already sponsor 35, and, without recruiting sponsors, there's not room in the budget to take on any more. But 134 kids...

So we have started a sponsorship drive to get ALL of these kids sponsored for the 2016 school year! You can follow on www.facebook.com/teneighteen.org. I'm posting a photo (where available) and bio of each child until the child is sponsored.

We have a 10 year old who's never gone to school. We have teens who are still at primary school level, and 20 year olds in early secondary school. It's heartbreaking...

You can REWRITE A CHILD'S FUTURE TODAY! Follow the campaign on Facebook, and sponsor a child. It's only $7.50 to $25 a month, and you can set up a recurring donation here on GoFundMe. Make a difference!

We returned from a team trip last week - it was such a great two weeks! All of our project partners are continuing with such great work, and we are blessed to be a part of all God is doing through them and Ten Eighteen. We will be having a child sponsorship drive soon, as we have 150+ kids who need individual sponsors - for as little as $7.50/month you can sponsor a child for school!

I just got our October tickets! So far, I have 2 people going with me. We may have a professional videographer, which would be amazing! I know it's only May, but the summer will fly by and it'll be here before you know it. I'm excited!

Our ladies co-ops are going full speed ahead, and our kids have started their 2nd school term this month. It's hard to believe how fast they're growing up - some of those who were wee things when we started sponsoring them are in secondary school and doing great.

Interested in sponsoring a child? We'd love to have you as a partner!

We just sent a wire for the 2nd school term, over $5000! We'll be receiving the school reports soon, and are so proud to report that we count a number of children who are in the top 5 of their classes, including the #1 student in her school as "our" kids. These are kids from the slums, kids that others have written off. But all they need is a chance, which your contributions make possible. So THANK YOU from all of us!

Our two women's cooperatives are hard at work sewing and making jewelry. You can find their great work at www.ndotocollection.com - all the money goes to the cooperatives and Ten Eighteen! We've just started an Ambassador program, too, so you can be a representative and voice for these women here in the US. Check it out on the blog!

Remember, 100% of your donations go to the work - we take NO administrative fees! You can make a one-time or recurring donation. We'd love to have you partner with us!
