A Chance At Motherhood

It is difficult for us to write this plea. We are not comfortable asking for monetary help when there are so many causes more deserving. We cannot begin to explain our desire to have children or how much we want a child in our lives or how long this battle has been fought. We wholeheartedly want a child to love, cherish, and to share what we have learned to make this planet more beautiful. We know that between us, we are going to make the best parents and fill their world with love and laughter. We cannot express our desire to provide Kate’s mother with a grandchild who could benefit so much from her seemingly endless wisdom and extraordinary outlook on life. Words fail to express how a child would be surrounded by affirmation and support by our wonderful friends who are nearly as invested in this as we are and how much they desire to have a niece or nephew. So, we do not want to ask for help, but for us without assistance it will be difference between getting back up and giving up. This story is anguishing and we wish we didn't have to tell our story to anyone who will listen and we wish that getting pregnant was as easy as it looks for some. Unfortunately, our reality is not that fortunate and our goal of a child requires a significant amount of effort and support from everyone willing to help. Currently we are working with the Center for Assisted Reproduction and recently adopted a frozen embryo. Sadly, we learned that the embryo did not take and that is why you find us asking for assistance. We are saving up as much money as possible, but the last try exhausted the bulk of our funds and need help rebuilding for another try. We have looked into alternative options, but adoption is significantly more expensive. With that said, if you have the ability and desire, please help our family.
