Hi. I'm Will Turner and this fund supports a scholarship in honor of my Mom, Jackie Turner. Mom was a school teacher for almost 40 years in Hanover County, Virginia.
Mom's life was a testament to giving. Giving to her community and giving to the generations of students she had the pleasure of teaching.
She touched so many lives that now we, her family and friends, want to continue her legacy by providing college scholarships to deserving students graduating from Patrick Henry High School, starting in 2017.
This scholarship is a way to continue the kindness ripple started by Jackie Turner by providing a scholarship to needy students. (Yes, there is a "kindness" component to the scholarship application.) No doubt, she can continue to make a positive difference to deserving recipients with your help.
