I'm sick of seeing young people drop out of school.

And worst of all... I'm sick of seeing young people KILL one another.

So to combat the multiple issues that are infecting our community, I came up with an idea. What if I brought together the hottest artists in our town, recreated a classic anti-violence video from 1989 and launched a campaign for the next generation. We will call it...

The #howlong Project & Movement.

HOW LONG will we allow this to happen?
HOW LONG can we sit back and complain without doing something?
HOW LONG will we not offer viable options to our youth?

And to drive the message home even further, I blessed the project with the skillset of one of the most talented MC's to ever grace Kern County. A young man that tragically lost his own life to gun violence just two years ago. Mr. Daniel "Rezzo" Watkins.

A portion of the proceeds will go towards Project D.Y.N.A.M.O., a new mentoring program geared towards at-risk African-American boys in our local school districts.

A portion will also go towards the New Life Residential & Training Center. A local transitional facility that rehabilitates young men transitioning from jail and back into society.

And a portion will ALSO go towards the college funds of Rezzo's two beautiful children. One daughter and one son. I would feel blessed to be able to contribute towards the futures of Rezzo's beautiful children after his presence on this song and video could ultimately and positively change the futures of OUR children.
