Help Baton Rouge Rebuild

My name is Emily Anthony, and as a 2012 graduate of LSU in Baton Rouge, I can say wholeheartedly that the flooding happening in that city and surrounding areas is absolutely devastating. This city has experienced an enormous amount of setbacks both physically and emotionally in the recent months. Many friends and family members have lost everything in the past two days, as well as thousands of other Baton Rouge residents. I currently live in Houston but am organizing efforts to transport and purchase donated items to Baton Rouge this weekend.

The money you donate will be used to purchase items for local residents and close friends I attend with at LSU. I am traveling from Houston on Saturday to deliver items to Baton Rouge residents in the Millerville and University area. The items being purchased are currently out of stock in the Baton Rouge area. Your funds are allowing me to make these purchases and deliver them directly to my close friends and their neighbors who are flooded and have lost everything. I will post pictures of all items purchased. I am acting on your behalf to make these contributions to the community. 100% of these funds are going directly to purchasing goods, and I have even been using coupons to achieve lower purchase prices.
