Anika's a Louisiana Green Delegate!
My name is anika ofori. I am a mother, womanist, cultural artist, social entrepreneur, veteran and advocate in my community in New Orleans, Louisiana. I have been an Independent voter since 2008. I was previously a Democrat. After following Jill Stein of the Green Party for the past few months I came to believe the Green Party platform most represents the world I want to create. The world I want my children's children to live in.
Today I attended the Green Party of Louisiana Annual Convention and was unanimously nominated as a delegate to the Green Party National Convention in Houston on August 4, 2016-August 7,2016.

Why I am asking for your help~
A long time Green Party of Louisiana member has offered my children and I a ride to Houston. A dear friend has offered us her futon, couch, blankets and hospitality not far from the convention. But there will be expenses like contributing to gas, meals, travel to and from convention by Uber, and the expenses that happen traveling with children. Unexpectedly I am honered to have them. I just don't.
