Waymart Canine Unit

Waymart Police Department has been given the go for a Drug Dog! The dog is free at no cost to the borough or to the taxpayers of our community. Training for our canine officer is not, and they need our help! 
Please help send Assistant Chief Harry Shaffer go to Texas for a two week training period and bring a much needed asset to our community home. The dog has already received the necessary training, but our Canine Office must be trained with the dog. 
There have already been donations of a lifetime supply of food for the dog, grooming and nail care and Veterinary Services.
