Katie and Gabby´s Volunteer Trip

Hey there! So, Katie and Gabby are going to head to Greece in August, and hopefully again after that, to spend a month teaching English to refugees in some of the camps. We hope that by doing this we can contribute to helping these people who have come such a long way after being displaced from their homes to learn/improve a language that will help them when they finally get settled. We also hope to bring in some structure with both the children and adults in the camps with classes.

The reason we are fundraising is to help us get there and to buy books, notebooks, pens, pencils, supplies for the kids--anything that will contribute to their learning and make it easier and more enjoyable. Any little bit helps--a euro will buy some stationary! We are planning on buying any of the resources we can in Greece, to help support their struggling economy.

We will be sure to update you as we get closer to the date, and also to update while we are there!
