Help Danielle care for orphans
Donation protected
Hello it’s Danielle.
If you know me it is unusual for me to ask instead of give. I really need your help. It has been my dream and goal to be an educator in Africa. After graduating from the University of Connecticut with a B.A. in Psychology this May, an amazing opportunity opened for me. This summer I was invited to help change the lives of underprivileged orphans in Tanzania, Africa. With your support, and donations to cover my expenses I will be able to help these children.
I have been asked by Anne Wells, founder of Unite Africa (http://uniteafricafoundation.org) to come to Tanzania to provide educational assessments to the children and adolescents of the St. Joseph's orphanage. This is a once and a lifetime opportunity and I need your support.
I have just been accepted into Russell Sage College this fall to begin my Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism. Additionally, for the past three years, I have been working as a developmental specialist for Connec-to-Talk providing 1-1 applied behavior analysis (behavioral) therapy to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. Because of my work skills and education I will be able to make a difference in the lives of these orphans and partake in this opportunity, but not fund it. I cannot afford to continue my education and pay for this trip, which is why I need your help.
I will be in Tanzania the first two weeks of August 2016 to create and implement programs to help these children live a better life and reach their goals. I cannot do this without your help. So please donate via this website.
My goal is to provide these orphans with a future, enhance their academic education so they can be independent, help them developmentally, and give them the support they need to succeed even though they were abandoned. Please support me so I can support them.
YOUR FUNDS WILL GO TO:
· Airfare
· Visas
· Vaccinations
· Transportation
· Food
· Supplies that will ensure my safety and health.
Thank you!
