Giving back to Carlos

Hello my name is Karen. I am Lissette, Leila and Luz' mom.
We have been at PS 130 for the last 7 years and we have interacted with Carlos the ice-cream vendor for most of these years. Carlos is a very nice hard working man. Very considerate and just a good hearted person.
Last Tuesday a plain clothed agent (police) gave Carlos a fine for not having a permit decal (which he doesn't have because there is a long wait list and there is limited permit decals available. I know because i did some research) This is not his fault.
He does have a license and pays his taxes.
The agent was about to take his cart, but thank goodness a mom (i don't know who she is) Stepped up to help Carlos. The children playing in the yard were very upset. They started to chant, "protest, protest!" The kids told the agent that Carlos is not doing anything wrong and that HE (the agent) was the bad person. SO thanks to the parent and the kids, the agent did not take his cart!
I would like to raise $1,000 to pay for this ticket due June 8th.
I personally will be very thankful for any donation, any small contribution adds up and i am sure that Carlos will feel very much appreciated and loved!
