2017 Bonners Ferry July Fourth

My name is Gary Leonard. I have volunteered to help coordinate this year’s July Fourth event. As long as I am involved, I will ensure we will have a classic family oriented Boundary County celebration with a parade, picnic, entertainment, and a spectacular fireworks display.
This is the sixth year I have been organizing and fund raising for our July Fourth Celebration. Once again, we are planning an “Old Fashioned All American Small Town Celebration”
We are in the early planning process but one thing is concrete, we need to purchase the pyrotechnics. The cost for last year’s event was about $6,500. This year, we are attempting to raise $6,500 again. Our source for fireworks has made some logistical changes that may result in additional costs. Historically, we have been funded entirely by private donations so please help us this year.

We will be placing an order for fireworks next month. That gives us several weeks to raise the $6,500 goal. All contributions will be held by the City of Bonners Ferry in an account designated for July Fourth only.
