A New Phone For Our Hero Sunny

This is Sunny and here is why he’s our hero and why he needs a new phone: Mark Yaskoweak lived in our building and terrorized us for 9 long months. This was covered several times in the local news: https://youtu.be/ysgPhW8zga8 He would scream obscenities, death threats,curse at us, bang on his door and walls with a mallet at all hours of day and night. Sometimes he would come out in the hallway and chase other tenants who had the misfortune to be in the hallway at the same time. People passing by his window would get the same treatment People who would be in the alley when he came out to take the trash out would get screamed at too and threatened to death. Even though he'd been legally evicted, Mark wouldn't leave his apartment and neither the sheriffs who came to evict him twice or the police who was in our building over 60 times could make him leave. We were losing our minds!! We could not sleep with his demonic screams every 10 minutes the whole night or Come in or out of the building without being harassed by Mark Finally our landlord hired a security team to stand in the hallway 24 hrs a day Having to endure Mark's endless threats and screaming. One of these guards was Sonny. Always nice and happy, welcoming everyone. Multiple times Mark screamed at him, ran towards him cursing and calling him the N word,telling him he was going to kill him, even threaten him with a hammer. One day Mark came out and cursed at him, screamed at the top of his lungs he was going to kill him, collected his mail and stole Sunny's phone running back into his apartment. Sunny begged Mark to give it back but Mark would not return it! This photo is Sunny asking for his phone back. On Wednesday our nightmare came to an end when Mark ran to get his Mail towards the buildings entrance, Sunny blocked Mark from getting back to his unit and alerted the sheriffs who were doing surveillance outside the building, Sunny kicked the door open so the sheriffs could come in. Sheriffs rushed in put Mark in handcuffs and called the Santa Monica PD who then arrested Mark and took him away. But it was Sunny’s bravery that trigger the end of the nightmare Sunny never got his phone back. We feel like the least we could do to repay his brave actions is to help buy him a new phone. Please help us buy Sonny a new phone!
