5,000 "F the NRA" Buttons

UPDATE: If we can raise between $900-1,000 instead, we can still produce 5,000 buttons. That's our new goal!
On March 24th, we will attend the March for Our Lives in Washington, D.C.
We want to bring with us 10,000 "F the NRA" buttons to hand out for FREE to march participants and members of gun violence prevention organizations from around the country.
Since the Parkland, Florida, mass shooting, there have been calls for politicians to swear off any political contributions from the National Rifle Association (NRA) and to commit to supporting Common Sense Gun Violence Prevention legislation. As part of those calls is the beginning of a movement to appropriate the NRA's scolding F-Rating it gives to politicians it deems as "enemies" and turn it into a badge of honor for elected officials and those seeking elected office who are willing to fight to prevent gun violence. We hope these buttons can help push that effort forward by using a little bit of tongue-in-cheek wording to make the NRA F-Rating something to be proud of.
To create these buttons, we need to raise $2,500 ASAP in order to have the buttons produced and shipped in time for the March. We must place and fully fund the order by Wednesday, March 14th.
100% of the money we are raising will go exclusively towards the production and shipping of these buttons.
Using PureButtons.com as an example, the base price for 10,000 custom 1.5" round buttons is $1,750.
Factoring in UPS 3-Day shipping, the estimated total comes to $1,939. We're raising $2,500 in anticipation of the potential need for rushed prodution and GoFundMe processing fees. This price is comparable to quotes from other companies that produce buttons.
These buttons will be handed out for free to marchers and all the money we raise will be put into producing and shipping the buttons. If we raise more money than our stated goal, we'll make more buttons!
