Help Zzyzx Survive!
As most of you know, in November I had open heart surgery in order to replace my aortic valve since I was born with a defective heart valve. Right now I'm both going through physical therapy and also trying to recover from an upper respiratory infection while I'm healing from that surgery.
I have several hundred thousand dollars worth of medical bills, but I'm not asking for that because I should be able to pay that off in the future. Right now, however, between every day expenses, paying for medicine, paying for physical therapy, and making minimum payments on my medical bills, I've run a bit short of money.
I've also had a few unexpected expenses, like having to pay to have my cat, Lennon, put down last month, and the tests and medication to try and fight off this dreadful upper resperatory infection that's been making me sick.
If I can raise $1,500 within the next month or two, though obviously the sooner the better because it will help me avoid paying late fees or potentially losing service, my health insurance, or even missing my rent payment and winding up without a place to live. So, if you can donate anything, please do. But whether you can or can't, please spread the word. The more eyes we can get on this, the more folks who might be able to help out.
I know most of you won't be able to afford to help, and I completely understand. I know a lot of my friends are struggling right now, and I hate to ask for anything. I appreciate anything you guys can do to help, and I want you to know that I love you all very much, and that I'm blessed to have you guys in my life!
