If you don't already know me, my name is Nichole, and I am a mom to three creative, spunky and sweet children. I am a wife to a strong, courageous Veteran. For a livelihood I am a freelance E-Learning developer and in-transition yoga instrutor, where my only students at the moment are myself, my kids, and our surprisingly zen mastered Australian Shepherd, Daphney.
It's been a rough few years for our family; transitioning out of military life, losing all of our household belongings from heavy mold in a home, three young children who have moved 12 times in 9 years, and after four years of mysterious medical mayhem, I became diagnoised with Multiple Sclerosis. I am lucky enough to have a brother who began to teach me about E-Learning and another brother who helped me understand minimal computer programing skills. All of these skills have allowed me to do my part in sustaining our precious family. Life. You never know what might happen, you get thrown a curve ball, or become down on your luck. I believe in a sense of community and helping one another out during these trying times. And, just maybe, making the world a little better.
So back to the E-learning part of my life. My work computer is 8 years old and on the verge of disintegrating if blown on the wrong way. I am in need of a new workstation laptop that has all the bells and whistles modern technology can offer in this competive market.
My goal is to raise $3500 to get the following items to continue my work and keep my livelihood, well, let's just say... lively!
My want list:
-Workstation Computer (with all the bells and whistles)
-Professional Microphone/Tripod/Pop Filter
-E-Learning Software updates I currently need and
ones I will need in the near future.
