Support for Mark and Angelita
The families of Mark Bennett and Angelita Salazar wish to provide support for them as they grieve the recent loss of their daughter, Corrina Nadia Lee Salazar Bennett.
In early October Angleita (in her third trimester) was admitted to the hospital for pancreatitis. She was beginning to feel better and was even talking about leaving the hospital when she took a turn for the worst and the unthinkable happened. Unable to stabalize Angelita, the OB had to make the difficult choice to give her a c-section, risking her life, or save Angelita.
On Wednesday, October 21st, baby Corrina Nadia Lee, passed away while her mother fought for her life on life supprt. Angelita was induced and Corrina was born while her mother was in a medically induced coma.
Angelita, slowly got better, and after several days the doctors allowed her to try to breathe on her own. As she came to, she learned of the passing of her Corrina, days after the rest of the family knew of her loss.
We hope to offer them financial reprieve so they can focus on healing. There are many expenses, including but not limited to funeral, medical bills and other bills due to not being able to work while Angelita was in the hospital.
Whether it is prayers or financial support, we deeply apreciate any and all gifts.
