Thomas Butkus Family Fund

Today I am writing to the hardcore community at large to let you know that one of our own needs our help. Aaron Butkus, vocalist of Death Threat is losing his dad to a valiant battle with cancer any day now.  One to never ask for help, Aaron is part of our family and a long time friend to many of us and we need to stand with him during this time. What better way to give back to a man who has given so much to the scene over the years than to donate to this fund to help him and his family out during this difficult and stressful time. As most of you know being in a hardcore band doesn't bring in income for the here and now, let alone when something comes up, especially something like this. Unfortunately the bills are growing each day as Aaron discovers the costs and financial responsibilities after being named power of attorney. With the looming cost of cremation and arrangements for his dad as well as having to provide funds and support for his grandmother (dad was the sole support for her), things are proving to be challenging and stressful, especially on a financial level.  If we can all step forward and donate a dollar or two, we will raise these funds and give Aaron peace of mind so he can spend the last days with his dad worry free of financial stress for all that is about to come.
