On the way to a 1-week residency at Le Confort Moderne in Poitiers (France) where we were meant to work on an EP together, ZULI's bag with his laptop, interface (sound card), 2 midi-controllers, and USB stick was stolen after he fell asleep on the train. Not only did he lose 2,970 EURO worth of gear, he also lost his entire music collection, Rekordbox files, and all the music he's made since 2017. That includes all the material he uses for live performance and what were to be  his releases for 2019. They were backed up on a hard drive in Cairo but coincidentally, that hard drive is not working!

This all happened at the beginning of a trip where he has a bunch of live performances lined up, and now he neither has a live set to perform nor any equipment to perform with. Needless to say, it is a very difficult time for him. If we manage to at least help him buy his gear back so he can make new music to release and perform, it would make a huge difference for him.

Here's a list of the stolen gear:

Lenovo Z50-70 laptop
RME Fireface UC (sound card)
AKG K702 headphones
Novation Launchpad
Novation Launch Control XL
Magma Riot DJ Backpack
Sandisk 64gb USB Stick
Cables
USB hub
Lenovo P2 fast (phone) charger
House Keys
