Juan’s recovery

Juan Velasquez, 23 , was in a severe car accident Tuesday afternoon near Lake Atlanta in Rogers. As he was heading to Lake Atalanta, his steering rack and brakes locked causing him to loose control, go off of the curve and head onto a tree. He was airlifted to Springfield, MO due to his injuries and has undergone the first surgery and will be undergoing 2 more surgeries within the next few days. Due to the accident Juan suffers from 2 broken heels, a shattered femur, 2 broken knee caps, broken hips in two places, torn ligaments in his knee, two fractured ribs, a broken arm, a broken elbow, a broken clavicle and 3 chipped discs in his spine. Juan will be attending rehab once he is released to learn how to walk once again. We are praying for a speedy recovery, but know it will be a long healing process. With the love, support, and motivation from his family, friends, and community Juan will pull through and is a fighter!
