The hardest time my family is facing. My name is Desiree and I'm making this page on behalf of my sister Alicia, my brother Stephen and myself in regards to our mother's (Deborah Marthins) wishes. Cancer has taken a toll on our family and now it's calling our mom home, she is still strong and fighting but the reality is that although we are not ready to say goodbye it is inevitable. Our mom was diagnosed 7 years ago with lung cancer and was given 6 months and had been in remission for the last 7 years, a week ago she was having a hard time breathing and went to the hospital, she was admitted, now she is hospice because testing was done and they found what they believed is cancer...but a different type, she also has a blood clot in her heart, fluid around her lungs and liver, on oxygen full time still struggling to breathe, it is still touch and go and we are holding on to hope as long as possible. Any and all help will be greatful and appreciative so we can give our mom a proper burial and headstone.
