Hello everyone!
Zor is a group of talented and driven UCSD students who each bring their unique style and experience together to create an exciting mix of Bollywood and modern dance styles. UCSD Zor wants to keep pushing the boundaries of Bollywood dance, and make it accessible and enjoyable for a national audience. Zor hopes to continue its growth and success in the 2016-2017 season, and be a force to reckon with.
UCSD's Hindi Film Dance team was created in 2001 in the hopes of promoting South Asian dance awareness at UCSD. Since, the team has been competing all over the nation and has built a reputation for itself as one of the finest fusion Bollywood teams in the nation. In past years, we've competed in Los Angeles, Berkeley, Chicago, Santa Barbara and Las Vegas. All of these competitions are funded from our own pockets through our dancers, and because all of us are college students, we can use whatever money we can to help our team.
Our team is a family. As a family we are asking you, our community, to help us attend competitions and hopefully bring home a first place trophy. Any amount helps small or large, we will be using this funding in several ways.
