This sweet little girl has been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor and this will not only take an emotional toll on her family but a huge financial burden as well.
We are asking for any donations to the #Team Zoey Fund” to help fund finances that this family will be enduring due to Zoey’s lengthy fight for her life
All donations for this angel and her beautiful family are greatly appreciated! God Bless you all!
Over the summer Zoey completed 12 rounds of radiation and has received Avastin and Nivolubum ever other week. She will continue to receive the chemotherapy and immunotherapy inhibitor every other week until her body stops responding to it.
In July we were told we had very little time left with her and the fact that she has rebounded the way she has is truly a miracle. Zoey lost her ability to walk, talk, move and function daily. She is now back to being her spunky self which we are grateful for!
Zoeys parents have reached out to multiple doctors for options to deal with progression and her tumor. Right now the most promising is a CED surgery and chemotherapy infusion program in the UK. This program will insert 4 catheters into Zoeys brain and distribute chemotherapy drugs directly to her tumor.
The surgery and initial drug infusion cost $90,000 USD. This does not include room, board, or travel. The UK doctors have requested a start date for Zoey to be March 22nd.
While the procedure is risky is it is the most promising option at this time to help destroy her tumor cells and get her to the point of no evidence of disease. Please help consider supporting Zoey and her family as they venture on this journey to save her life.
Her parents need to continute this Germany trip, once a month, in order to maintain the immunotherapy treatment. The initial two treatments came to a grand total of $35,389 USD. This is for the treatment only and was not inlcuding any travel, lodging, or other needed expenses.
The remaining treatments will be lesser in value, approximately $10,000 USD for just treatment. This will have to be paid monthly, for the considerable future, as long as Zoey is able to travel and does not progress.
We all want her to stay a happy four year old as long as she can. So treatment and trips will have to continue
The Daggett's recieved a consult in the UK, which would be tripple the cost of Germany and they recieved 3 new "no's" from trials in the US. They will never stop searching for the best help for their daughter. Germany, however expensive it may be, will be their only hope to extend her life for now.
