The Lovett Family
Please help her husband Ryan and their family have one less stress in their life as the hospital bills, time away from work, and -- as much as I had to say it -- funeral costs (anticipated 15K) weigh heavily upon them. Lizz is currently bed-bound, so they also need to get a full time nanny to help look after their four darling kiddos.
I know so many of us feel helpless as we watch the amazing, dyanmic, living and loving Lizz draw closer to her death. Other than prayer, I know this is a gift that will really help them.
Thanks so much,
Lizz before one of her many surgeries.
Here is the link to the obituary I wrote for Lizz for the National Catholic Register. It includes Fr. Paul Scalia's funeral homily.
The outpouring of love for the Lovett family has been overwhelming. Through donations large and small, Lizz's funeral expenses were covered. More money was also raised to also start paying for a nanny for the children.
What I did not include in our appeal was the $24,000 in medical bills, largely because it wasn't clear what the Lovett's would owe. So the money intended for childcare has been used for medical bills. The Lovetts are still in need of funds to hire someone to help with childcare indefinitely.
Any contribution that you can make to this would be greatly appreciated as Ryan, Aletheia, Ambrose, Petra and Virgil transition to life without Mamma to care for them. No one can replace her, but some special people can certainly make the journey a bit easier.
Thank you again for your love and prayers for the all Lovetts.
Praying for your you and your family! Be HEALED in the name JESUS!!!

May her soul rest peacefully in the arms of the Lord. May Jesus, Mary, and Joseph put their warm arms around those she left until they are reunited again!

I got the same tattoo. I never would have taken or will receive another.
God bless you Lizz and family, and as you know, God willing you will be reunited in His kingdom. I lost my husband to cancer 3 years ago, with just myself and our young boy in the room with him, and we miss him so deeply still, that I'm afraid it has allowed me to grieve so deeply it has affected everyone around me in a negative way. I also fear I too may have a serious illness, but I have no insurance or funds to see a doctor or to pay for care if diagnosed, so. I do nothing. But I contoniue to pray and I will add you and your dear ones to my list, dear Lizz. Be brave. The end came gently for my sweet husband--may it be so for you as well, and please tell Robert, when you get there, his wife and son love and miss him. Amen and bless you Kerry Wolf
