Sasha Belcher is a beautiful, strong, amazing young wife and mother who is currently pregnant and fighting for her life.

On April 7th, she experienced some severe headaches, and her husband took her to the local hospital. While there, she stopped breathing and had to be revived and then evacuated to UAMS. At UAMS, they found that she had been born with a mass of blood vessels in her brain, and that mass had ruptured. Not only that, but the rupture caused pressure on the part of her brain that controls the heart and lungs, which is what caused her to stop breathing.

At UAMS, they performed surgery to stop the bleeding in her brain. They were unable to complete the surgery because she coded and had to be revived again. Although they were able to stop the bleeding, the doctors were not optimistic about her recovery. At one point, we thought we had lost her.

But, our Sasha is stubborn and a fighter. She has been on life support since coming out of surgery, but she has been responsive. She has been able to respond more and more as the days have gone by. They're starting to ween her off of life support to see if she can start breathing on her own again.

Before April 7th, Sasha was a healthy, vivacious woman. Her hospitalization came as a complete shock to all of us. Her husband has been at her side this whole time and has never lost faith that she would recover. She has a sweet, two-year-old little girl, and she is pregnant with her second child, a boy, who is still doing well despite all that has happened.

Sasha has touched many lives, and so many people have been praying and rooting for her. Many of her friends and family, like myself, live far away and are unable to visit, but we want to help her in any way we can. We all know that surgery and hospital stays get very expensive very quickly. And we don't know what kind of therapy she will have to do in the future to fully recover. So, I wanted to set up this campaign to help her and her family out in this difficult time.

I set the goal at $10,000 because the site requires a goal, but I don't know how much her medical bills are going to amount to. I may change the goal in the future when we get a better idea of what her expenses will be. Regardless, I am sure they will be extremely grateful for any contribution. Every bit counts.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read Sasha's story.
