The Northwest Guilford Varsity Winter Guard will once again be traveling to Dayton, OH for the WGI World Championships in April 2016.
These 12 young ladies put in over 8 hours of practice a week, many LONG hours during weekend rehearsals and competitions to hone their skills in the art of performance.
Despite numerous fundraising attempts and personal contributions, they have simply fallen short of raising money to pay for the charter bus, which is over $7,000.00.
It is my hope, that we, as an alumni community and NW support system can help offset the cost by at least half.
These kids deserve our support. After all they are nationally ranked and the ONLY winter guard program within Guilford County Schools.
Let's come together and show them they are important and deserving $4,000 (total), due by March 31, 2016.
Every donation, however big or small, will make a difference. Donations can be made here, or checks are welcome, and appreciated.
