To beat Cancer!

Merja has been fighting cancer for several years, kept positive and continued love her dogs and practice beloved sports (horseback riding). Some times have been better, some worse and now she is in her most terrible phase in her life.
With this latest cancer "buddy" she has battled through multiple treatment rounds, but it is still there in her rib. Although in Finland the health care is free and good, not always it is able to treat cancer.
Now her last hope lies on CAR-T (Chimeric Antigen Receptor) treatment that is not possible to be given in Finland, or is not financed by Finnish health care either. This is a special type of treatment and can treat only special types of cancer and Merja would be perfect candidate and got selected by the Doctor responsible of the clinic. This is a great news for her, but there is only one big but, as she cannot afford it!
Typically, according to international law, experimental treatments are out-of-patient, but China's own legislation limits laboratory services and hospitalization away from subsidized costs. The costs of treatment are hundreds of thousands, and as a deductible part, the patient will still be paid about 40,000 USD (about 35,000 EUR) due to the above-mentioned legislation. At the same time, EU legislation prevents the EU from receiving subsidies for non-EU treatment.
