Holiday Spirit In The Lights
We are friends of Marcia Hales that have been profoundly touched by her Holiday Spirit In The Lights display on Park Point in Duluth, Minnesota.
Since 1998, Marcia's charming and unique display and experience has been a Christmas tradition for so many people locally AND around the United States. Last year, Marcia's display was also featured in the ABC The Great Christmas Light Fight. 
After health issues this year prompted Marcia to reconsider extending the tradition, friends, family, and volunteers encouraged her to continue, so we're in the process of preparing the 2016 Holiday Spirit In The Lights!
The expenses for free apple cider, cookies, s'mores, firewood, replacement lights and displays, and the additional energy costs add up, so any donation is greatly appreciated.
We hundled near the fire, sipped cider, took lots of photos, basked in the light and I knew before leaving that a new tradition had been started. I found myself reluctant to leave despite my frozen fingers and realized that Marcia had renewed the wonder of Christmas and I believed.
