Please see Fox News 11 for Los Ángeles @ 5 about our story and meet Zeta. Hello I'm Dennise. May 15th was a horrific day, a swarm of Africanized Bees came through my backyard and attacked my three dogs in my backyard. It took a fire truck to remove them from the yard, 24 vet techs and a doctor at Sweetwater Vet to help stabilize all three dogs, but unfortunately the attack killed my Great Pyrenees, Sid due to shock and my Great Dane, Khalessi who had to be put to sleep due to a 10% chance of survival.
Our dear Zeta, who we've had in our family for 13 years, is clinging to her life at the moment with neurological effects and infections from the venom. We are so blessed and have been told by the doctors that she has a very positive chance of survival. We are hoping with any help from the gracious people in America as we are, that we can raise the funds to help save our only dog, Zeta. Unforunately, the bills are mounting between emergency services , the death of our two dogs and finally our dog Zeta who requires 24 hour care.
The vet is thinking the total will be close to $5,000, anything will do and will not be forgotten no matter how little or big your help is. I'm extremely devasted and heartbroken from losing my two dogs, but I have hope of saving our baby Zeta. All unused proceeds will be donated to Sweetwater and Chat Oak Vets to help families save their loved ones and Los Ángeles County Animal Services .
