Lucas' Medical Bills

I am Lucas' FOSTER mom.  I am fostering him from Northwinds Kennels in Bedford, NY. He got out of his leash the morning of 7/14.  We posted signs, posted on Facebook and lost dog sites.  Luckily it was garbage day at my house and I saw the recycling man and asked him to keep a look out for him.  He ended up finding him around 9 hours later and called me.  But unfortunately he was badly injured.  He had 2 large lacerations under his front arm pit and belly most likely caused by barbed wire.  I brought him to the vet and he will need surgery.  He will have to be sedated for surgery and kept overnight.  This is going to cost several thousand dollars.  Please help me and the rescue at Northwinds pay for this.  Please feel free to call the Kennel if you would like to verify this post.
