Building new to preserve the past!
History. It may not have been your favorite subject in school, but you have to admit, there is a certain appeal to looking at the equipment, literature and clothing of the past and reminiscing about what once was. Many communities hold their history in the highest regard and have museums or displays to show off some of their past.
Clarissa is no different. Due to difficulties with the old museum building, we are looking at adding on to our Senior Citizens Center so that we can preserve the historical artifacts from the yesteryears of Clarissa. But we need your help.
How can you help?
Change can be a wonderful thing, but remembering where we were and how we got here can be equally wonderful.
You can help us reach our goal of building a new museum facility by donating or pledging funds to our cause. We need about $70,000 to build the museum that we would like.
That’s a lot of money, but if you believe in preserving our history and keeping it available for future generations to enjoy, we want the best that we can build in the most economical manner.
